Challenge

Elé had purchased Sage X3, but was still managing quality control, formulas and hazardous material bill of ladings outside of Sage X3.  The company was looking for a single integrated solution that would allow them to efficiently manage each of these areas within their Sage X3 system.

Solution

Procession was selected because it added a depth of functionality to Sage X3 for chemical manufacturers. These features included the ability to manage hazardous materials, advanced quality control functionality, formulation management and a bill of lading for hazardous materials.

Results

When Elé Corporation added Procession to Sage X3, they were able eliminate external systems that they were using for quality control and formulation. The company was able to increase efficiencies by eliminating the need for users to manually enter bill of ladings for hazardous materials.

Procession Software has helped us be more competitive by enabling us to better meet our customer’s chemical specifications. The comprehensive quality management system allows us to print and archive customizable Certificates of Analysis that are critical to our industry. In addition, Progression allows us to more efficiently analyze test results that ultimately help us manufacture more competitive products.
